Document is stamp signed by George V and personally signed "Edward P" as Prince of Wales and Grand Master of the Order of the British Empire, partially printed document with manuscript annotations, conferring an Officer of the OBE on Noel Burn Rosher, Esquire, with embossed seal in extremely fine condition. Most documents from this period are offered with the stamped signature of Edward - a copy of which we present below for comparison. This document has his early personal autograph and is scarce as such. A very nice signed document from England's most controversial Sovereign of the Twentieth Century. |

Notice of Appointment by King George V on buff, heavy, "Turkey
Mill" paper (click here for
more information) watermarked "J Whatman/Hand Made/1917" and measuring 8¼"
wide x13"
tall (210mm x 333mm). It is in Extremely Fine Condition and bears the
stamped signature of George, R.I. as King of
England on the top of he first page and the autograph signature of
Edward, signing as the Prince of Wales and Grand Master of the Order of
the British Empire, on the bottom of the second page, and is dated the 1st of January 1918.
Printed in calligraphic text
with handwritten particulars on two pages only of a bifolium (single
larger sheet folded in half to form four sides or pages) with an
albino embossed seal.
